Yaaaay…. the work for the Downtown Coffee Lounge exhibit is now up. A million thanks to Gregory Zeorlin for asking me to hang work here in a lovely place dedicated to showing art. I have seven large paintings and four small ones on display through December 9, 2011. The artist reception will be tomorrow….200 W. Erwin, Tyler, TX……….. Thursday, October 27, 2011, 5-7pm. Please do come see the work and say hello.
Gregory… a special thanks to you for climbing up and down to measure and hang the work.
Lovely installation and work.
I love your style. Congratulations……………
Was looking at your site and noticed your kind words about my helping hang your show at the Downtown Coffee Lounge in Tyler, TX. I enjoyed doing it as I get to learn about the artist and see their work in another way…up close, lets say. Your art looks great in the DCL and I hope people will make an effort to visit. In addition to the art the place makes great coffee and excellent food all presented in a great setting.
I encourage other artists to look at the DCL and imagine how your own art might display there. I am always enterested in learning about artists who are in the East Texas region. For that matter, I’m one myself. You can see what I do if you wish at http://www.zeorlinart.com. If you visit the site you’ll see that I work in a variety of ways. Contact me if you have some thoughts about showing your art at the Down Town Coffee Lounge. And make sure and go see Cheryl’s artwork!
thanks, Gregory…………… It is a great space, fantastic people (you included) to work with. The food is really good, too. I met up with a friend for lunch there already one day.
